Wyking Jones is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on January 8, 1973 in Inglewood, California, United States. In the year 2011, Jones headed to Louisville to be a coach for Rick Pitino, where he was included in the 2013 national team, which won the championship as well as three Final Fours, two Elite Eights as well as 4 Sweet 16 appearances as the Cardinals finished 123-30 during the time. Jones worked with players such as Terry Rozier, Montrezl Harrell and Gorgui Dieng during his time working for the Cardinals.

Jones later joined Pepperdine to work as an assistant coach under Paul Westphal from 2002 to 2006. Then, in 2009 Jones was hired as a coach by Steve Alford at New Mexico and helped the Lobos to record 52 wins over two seasons, which included the school record of 30 wins and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2010 as well as an NIT application in 2011 while also coaching the future NBA star Tony Snell.
Before being a coach, Jones played professionally in Italy, France, Lebanon and South Korea from 1995-2001.
Jones was hired by Cuonzo Martin at California in 2015, where he was part of a team that made a NCAA and NIT appearance, while also helping the Golden Bears to be the Pac-12’s best defensive unit, ranking tops in the league in points per game allowed and field goal percentage allowed in 2015-16 and 2016-17. Jones is also credited for his work with Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and 2016 NBA Draft selection Jaylen Brown, along with two-time All-Pac-12 selection Ivan Rabb.
